Yeah, Solstice is a really lovely idea, but I'm always tricked into thinking it's signalling an improvement. Where I live, even if it's getting brighter out, the weather is going to get worse until mid-February. There should be a Canadian Solstice, marking the point when the temperature stops dropping.
I know I missed Thursday, I was unwell, but I'm back. Happy New Year, everyone! I'm very excited to be looking forward to 2014 with all of you.
