This happened to me a few weeks ago at work and because i was at work I was not able to take the person by the shoulders and sternly intone THERE IS POWER IN NAMES AND YOU SHOULD NOT METE IT OUT SO CASUALLY but I though about it REALLLLLY hard and then mentally named them 'Table'.
